Elizabeth L. Leonard, Ph.D.
    Dr. Leonard is the Clinical Director of Neurocognitive Associates and has over 30 years of experience serving children, adolescents and adults with developmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Dr. Leonard is a licensed psychologist who earned a doctorate in Psychology at Tufts University and trained in the Developmental Evaluation Center at Boston Children's Hospital and Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. Areas of specialization include evaluating children, adolescents and adults with developmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Practice specialization includes clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology and forensic neuropsychology.
    Dr. Leonard has received numerous research grants from private and public agencies including the March of Dimes, National Institutes of Health and the United States Department of Education. She has served on numerous boards, evaluated peer reviewed studies and grants and
lectures nationally and internationally.
    Dr. Leonard trains psychologists and medical residents in neuropsychology, child neurology, psychiatry and pediatrics and is on the faculty of the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and is a Senior Research Associate in the Program in Psychiatry and the Law at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She belongs to professional associations including the American Psychological Association, Arizona Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the International Neuropsychological Society.
    Dr. Leonard was a consultant to the Arizona Governor's Council on Head and Spinal Cord Injury and has consulted in the area of mental health to the U. S. Social Security Administration. Dr. Leonard is a former vice president of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona, was on the Board of the Arizona Psychological Association and a consultant to the State of Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners. Dr. Leonard participated in the national telecast of the White House Conference on Early Childhood Development and Learning. She consulted to the Arizona Department of Education and New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Bureau. She was listed in Who's Who in American Women and is on the Executive Advisers Committee of the Asperger's Association of New England.
