Neurocognitive Associates sees individuals upon referral from physicians, schools and agencies involved with the care and treatment of infants, children, adolescents and adults with disorders of development, learning and behavior. Evaluations are provided to identify specific disorders and that impact on daily functioning. Testing may be scheduled to further identify areas of disability enhancing or impeding daily functioning. Examinations include assessment using multiple tests to evaluate different areas of brain function such as intelligence, memory, language function, academic achievement, motor skills, social and emotional functioning.
They are done in an office setting and take 6-8 hours to perform.
Therapeutic services including individual psychotherapy, parent-child management and school and agency consultation are available.Neurocognitive Associates is located at The Waltham Medical Office Building adjacent to Boston Children's Hospital Center at Waltham and is accessible by major transportation routes and public transportation.
